May 19, 2008: Innovation Ambassadors Announcement, NASA Centers
Innovation Ambassadors is a 3-12 month developmental assignment (as part of NASA’s professional development program) at outside organizations specifically for the Agency technical workforce. The objective is to gain experience with innovative practices/technologies that can be brought back to the Agency. An Agency-wide announcement will be released calling for participants from across the Agency to submit applications to their Center IPP Offices.

May 23, 2008 (Tentative): NASA 50th Anniversary Essay Winners Announcement, Washington, DC
The winners of the NASA 50th Anniversary Essay Competition will be announced. Top 3 winners will receive scholarships, and the overall winner will receive a trip to the STS-125 launch. The winning essays will be posted on the 50th Anniversary and IPP websites among others with possibility of publishing the winning essay in USA Today.

May 27-30, 2008: National SBIR Spring 2008 Conference, Orlando, FL
The 2008 SBIR/STTR National Spring Conference in Orlando will bring together not only federal program administrators from all of the 11 SBIR participating agencies, but also venture capital and angel investors, secondary market and traditional lenders, university and federal laboratory representatives and other experts who provide assistance with the scale-up of early-stage ventures. + View Site

May 28-30, 2008: Teaming To Win Technology Transfer Conference, Roanoke, WV
This conference will highlight West-Virginia based technology, economic development, and collaborating with federal labs in the area of technology transfer. The conference will include an overview of the Federal Lab Consortium, and presentations on collaboration with a representative grouping of federal labs, including NASA.

Selected to serve as an Allied Organization by the NASA Centennial Challenges Program, the California Space Education and Workforce Institute (CSEWI) administers the Regolith Excavation Challenge.
